Best Dress Met Ball

Fashions great and good turned out for the MET Museum's Model as Muse Gala in New York last night. It took a while, but we think were agreed on our best dressed list Looking radiant, exotic and like a 60s screen icon rolled into one, Kate Moss wowed the crowd in a gold Marc Jacobs dress and matching turban. Yes, a turban. Stealing the limelight from Victoria Beckham, also in Marc Jacobs, she won the most glamorous muse medal fair and square. We fancy Blake Lively for the number two spot. Her thigh-slashed, one shoulder teal gown by Versace was more Sex and the City than Gossip Girl proving the young actress is capable off carrying off the finest Red Carpet couture. Third place has to go to La Vie en Rose actress, Marion Cotillard. Her blush Dior strapless gown was so of the moment and fitted her to perfection. Clinched by her gorgeous, au naturel hair and make-up. As you might expect, with such a high turn out couture casualties were high. Madonna looked frankly, scary with a devilish headpiece and a Louis Vuitton gown that needed a good iron. Not to mention the usually radiant Rihanna whos oversized tux should have been quirky but instead, just looked silly. Naughty D&G for leading her astray.
